when(I) your daughter was born
Everyone was drenched in the rain
When she(your wife) cried in the pain.
And after much labour
You both welcomed her arrival
You were elated for your family was complete.
You both, your son and the cutest little treat.
Holding her in your arms you said, "you are my pearl, my doll,
my dearest darling I will love you above all" .
You held her hand and took her to the places,
showed her the world and taught her the graces.
She smiled, she chirped and the world seemed beautiful.
With elegance she walked and became really dutiful.
You taught her the life,
You showed her the way
How glorious the life became everyone was happy and gay.
She grew really fast
and soon her childhood was a past.
"She is a grown up girl now",you said to your Mrs.
and soon she was married among blessings and kisses.
"All my duties are discharged,
How lucky I am! " , you thought.
You thanked the God for the life was sort.
"Now I can rest and enjoy my life
What do you think my better half, my wife? "
My children are settled, happy and successful
Thank you God life has been blissful.
The God felt proud and smiled and said,
" Love you my son, bravo! well done!
There's a lot more happiness that you have to spread.
Come my dear, come with me
Together we will go on a new journey. "
And hence you marched to a newer world.
